Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Dr. Chang earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from NYU’s renowned 7-year accelerated B.A./D.D.S. program. As a member of OKU Dental Honors Society and recipient of the numerous Esthetic Dentistry awards, he trained under leading veneer pioneer Dr. Calamia.
He completed a rigorous surgery-focused residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where he proudly served the local community and honed his skills in extractions, implants, root canals, and grafts.
Dr. Chang blends functional, aesthetic, and holistic care including dental issues that impact sleep, breathing, and jaw pain. With advanced training from the Dawson Academy and 3+ years in a Brooklyn private practice, he’s Invisalign-certified and fluent in both English and Korean.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chang enjoys cooking, perfecting his pour over ratio, skiing, and spending time with his wife Renee and pup Clementine! He’s also an avid New York Times reader and recently received his level 2 wine sommelier certification.
